Process Operator duties include overseeing the movement of grain from one process to another, such as operating conveyors, manually opening gates and valves, and taking samples; Operating heavy equipment and perform general maintenance; Performing sanitation work, such as sanitation of the buildings and grounds, including, but not limited to, the use of high pressure wash hoses and shoveling grain.
The ideal candidate will have familiarity with Best Operating Procedures, Industrial Safety, possess the ability to learn quickly, be punctual, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work some weekends, work some holidays, and be able to work overtime as needed. This is a shift based position and may require the individual to work in an environment with moderate grain dust.
The successful candidate will have, at a minimum, a high school diploma and be computer literate. Credits toward an associate degree or having a college degree in the science field a plus. Industrial experience will be a strong recommendation.
